Amid the Horrors of War – The Adventures of Lydia Bacon, War of 1812

River Raisin National Battlefield Park will host Ashley Phlipot on March 7th from 7:00pm-8:00pm as she presents “Amid the Horrors of War – The Adventures of Lydia Bacon, War of 1812.” Phlipot is the executive director of Fort Meigs Historical Site, and this presentation will map out the adventures and perils of an officer’s wife during the War of 1812 as she accompanies her husband on a treacherous journey to Detroit. This event is free and open to the public.
